Is it safe to give now?
American Red Cross implemented added precautions to ensure blood drives are safe for donors and staff by:

• Using sterile collection sets
• Waiting/canteen area chairs will be 6 ft. apart
• Spacing beds 6 ft. apart where possible
• Having hand sanitizer available
• Using aseptic scrubs on arms
• Donor and staff temperature checks before entering drives
• Wiping down donor-touched areas
