Wednesday February 14 Ash Wednesday/ Valentine’s Day
“Return to me with your whole heart.” Our hearts belong to God who created us in love. It is only because we are loved that we are able to love another. Today we are reminded to fast, pray and give alms not so others can see, but only God. When we love another we go outside of ourselves for the other, at times without being recognized for what we do. It is the same with God – the good we are called to do is not for recognition but for deepening our relationship with God and all of God’s people!
