APRIL 14: HOLY THURSDAY

Saints of God, the Lord be with you.  Tonight the great Sacred Triduum begins with its’ one great liturgy celebrated over three days.  In tonight’s Gospel according to John [13: 1-15] Jesus “fully aware that He had come from God and was returning to God” performs an act of the lowest slave; Jesus washes the feet of the disciples.  This is Jesus’ great command, that we follow His example and show extreme love toward one another. Today, in memory of Him, let us show kindness toward one another.
