 Matthew in today’s gospel reading tells us about how much God loves all creation, especially children.  In ancient times children were not seen as human beings they were seen as property and owned by the father (the head of household).  Today reflect on: Do I sometime see others as objects to be used to get my personal needs and wants meet? Today pray for the graces to be able to see each individual as a reflection of God’s love.
