Daily Reflection: Friday, June 14

Friday, June 14, 2024 – Tenth Week in Ordinary Time

In the first reading from the Book of Kings, the prophet Elijah is told to go outside and that the Lord will pass by. Elijah experiences God presence through a whispering sound. Not in thunderous or dramatic events. He heard the voice of God in a quiet whisper like a gentle breeze. Today go outside and sit quietly, listening for a gentle breeze to hear what God wants to tell you today.
