Daily Reflection: Tuesday, June 14

June 14 Tuesday of the Eleventh Week in Ordinary Time

But I say to you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you

that you may children of your heavenly Father

for he makes the sun rise on the bad and the good

and causes the rain to to fall on the just and the unjust.   (Mt 5:44-45)

 Sometimes I wonder why God does not just sock it to the bad guys.  That thought, however natural, shows how far I have to go.
