Today’s responsorial psalm is taken from Psalm 24. The New American Bible entitles this psalm The Glory of God in Procession to Zion. The footnote states “The psalm apparently accompanied a ceremony of the entry of God (invisible enthroned upon the ark) followed by the people into the temple.  The first stanza tells us that God is the creator of all. “The earth is the Lord’s and all it holds, the world and those who live there, For God founded it on the seas, established it over the rivers.” Most of the time we take for granted our world and don’t think about how it was created.  We spend our time trying to get as much out of live as possible.  Today take some time to reflect that everything around us, who we are, and what we have, are gifts from our creator God.
