Daily Reflection: Friday, February 10

The sin of Adam and Eve really had nothing to do with apples! I believe it is based in the human desire to be more than what we are, created beings, not gods! We have inherited that tendency, naming it original sin, and it shows up in a variety of ways that are in opposition to the humility God showed by becoming human. Accepting the beauty of our own true nature will enable us to live in peace knowing that we are loved for who we are, not who we aren’t.
