 Today we hear the farewell discourse of Jesus to his disciples found in the Gospel of John.  This section of the discourse is known as Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer.  This prayer shows the interdependence between Jesus and God.  Jesus knows all that he has comes from God and belongs to God.  Do we believe that everything that we have comes from God and not from our own doing?
