The Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about.  (Mt 1:18)

 The birth Mary is not recorded in the Bible and no one knows the actual day.  This feast reminds me of the patience of God who mostly works quietly and secretly.  From the creation of Adam, God had in mind the New Adam and over the millennia prepared for his coming.  The birth of Mary was the final step.  Patient. Quiet. Secret.
