25th Sunday in Ordinary Time

https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/092521.cfm

Today is one time when our psalm is not taking from The Book of Psalms. Psalms are poems (songs). Today’s psalm is from the Book of Jeremiah. We read, “I will turn their mourning into Joy, I will console and gladden them after their sorrows”. Today reflect on:  Do I let God console and gladden me, so my mourning turns into joy, or do I want the attention from others that my mourning gives me?
