Daily Reflection: Saturday, July 9

July 9    Saturday of the 14th Week in Ordinary Time

So do not be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.    (Mt 10:31)

When the Lord wants us to understand his relationship with us he always seems to use images of humility.  He wants us to be like little children.  He cares for us like sparrows.  There is no need for us to try to impress him. What he wants is our trust. He will do the rest.
