Daily Reflection: Tuesday, May 14

Tuesday, May 14, 2024 – Matthias, Apostle, Feast

Today we celebrate the feast of Matthias the apostle. Matthias was not one of the original twelve (12). He was selected to replace Judas Iscariot. He was selected as a candidate by the other Apostles because he met the following. He was a disciple of Jesus from Jesus’ baptism to his Ascension and he was a witness to the resurrection. He ministered in Judea, Ethiopia and Jerusalem.

A Prayer to St. Matthias the Apostle, for Worthiness
Saint Matthias, pray that we may become worthy witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus in the way we live the eternal life we have right now. https://www.heavenlydivinecustomrosary.com/saint--matthias-the-apostle-prayers.html
