“Who do you say that I am?” Peter’s response to this question: “The Christ of God”, appears to be a major breakthrough in the understanding of Jesus’ role, yet we know that there were moments ahead when it did not seem that even Peter was completely convinced of it. We all have moments of insight into who God is in our lives, but we need to keep asking ourselves the question again and again. Our responses will change with our experiences, our learnings, our prayer. Ask yourself today: “Who do you say that I am?” and allow God to speak to your heart.
