Daily Reflection: Thursday, November 24

Thursday, November 24, 2022, Thanksgiving Day

Our readings today are about giving thanks to God for all that we have and who we are. We are the children of God. The God “who has done wondrous things on earth” (Sirach). St. Paul gives thanks to God for the faith of the people in the church of Corinth. Today let us be like the thankful heal person in today’s gospel, who returned to Jesus, glorifying God in a loud voice. Today pray a prayer of thanksgiving to God.

Happy Thanksgiving

Scott F. Brookbank, OFM
