A Memorial to Fr. John Frambes, OFM

A Note from the Friars
The loss of our brother John came as a surprise to everyone. His absence in the friary
is still keenly felt, as we are sure it is for everyone who knew and loved him. Our
belief in the Resurrection does give us comfort in knowing that John’s journey is
complete and that for which he lived his life has been found.
We, the friars of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, thank you for your support. Thank you
for the food shared and for the cards, calls, and prayers so generously given since
John’s death.
John’s wake and funeral were inspiring and hopeful. As a fraternity and as a parish
community, we mourned the loss of our brother as we also rejoiced in Christ's victory
over death.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the wake, the funeral, and the repast a
beautiful and inspiring tribute to our brother John.
Eternal rest grant unto him/her, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May his/her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
