Daily Reflection: Tuesday, August 29

Tuesday, August 29, 2023 – The Passion of St. John the Baptist, Memorial https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/082923.cfm

Today we celebrate the Passion of St. John the Baptist. Growing up we knew the memorial as the beheading of St. John Baptist. While reflecting on this memorial, I was thinking about John the Baptist. Who really is John for me in my faith journey? What can I learn from ministry and life of John? What can John teach me about Jesus? I invite you to reflect on these questions during your prayer time today.
