Daily Reflection: Monday, September 4

Monday, September 4

It’s Labor Day and for us here on Long Beach Island, it marks the transition from the summer season to a new season. Autumn has many events here and the weather is summerlike. On this Labor Day, let us pray for all workers- those who go out to work every day, those who work at home and those who are unemployed. Lord, we are grateful for the work that you give us even though at times it may be frustrating or boring. May we remember that we are working with you, Lord, so help us to use our talents and abilities constructively. May we be a positive influence in the work world. Amen

Fr. Andrew
