St. Teresa of Calcutta died on this day in 1997. We remember her great love for the poorest and the most abandoned. The simplicity of her life allowed her love to shine forth in the most challenging situations. Even though she went through periods of darkness, she remained faithful to the Lord and what He was asking of her. St. Teresa, continue to inspire us.
