Daily Reflection: Wednesday, February 28

Wednesday, February 28

There is a message in today’s Gospel from Jesus that sums up his whole life: “…the Son of man did not come to be served but to serve…” Jesus says that to be “great” or “important” He has different standards that what we have come to believe. Being of service to others is high on the qualities that make one “great” or “important.” We have the opportunities everyday to show this in a variety of ways, many not too seemingly great but in the actual circumstances, important. These acts show forth our thoughtfulness and sensitivity to others.
