Monday, March 18, 2024 – Monday of the 5th Week of Lent

 Today’s psalm is popular for funerals. Psalm 23 is entitled The Lord, Shepherd and Host, in the New American Bible. God’s loving care for the author is portrayed under the figure of a shepherd for the flock and a host’s generosity towards a guest. This psalm is filled with great imagery. Today, read the psalm slowly and in your mind visualize this psalm playing like a video in your mind.
