Daily Reflection: Tuesday, April 26

Tuesday, April 26

Today’s reading from the Acts of the Apostles describes the community of believers to be “of one heart and mind.” It goes on to tell of the way that they lived: “they had everything in common.” The enthusiasm of these first believers comes through in this passage. This is certainly something to be admired although it may be very difficult to do today. It shows that our faith and being a believer sets us apart from so many because of the way that we live our day to day lives. We need to continue to believe that we make a difference in ordinary ways as well as heroic ways. This is how the power of the resurrection is present in our lives.
