Tuesday, June 8

Saints of God, the Lord be with you! Today’s responsorial refrain taken from Psalm 119 is, “Lord let your face shine on me.” I think we should add, “so that You may shine on others through me.” Today’s Gospel according to Matthew (Mt. 5:13-16) has Jesus calling us “salt of the earth and the light of the world.”  Through being compassionate we are being salt, light, and more importantly Christ in the world.
