Daily Reflection: Monday, June 3

Monday June 3

In the letter of St. Peter, we are told that we have received everything we need to share in the divine nature. Wow! That is quite a statement. We have been gifted with all that is necessary to be a part of God’s reality. And Peter goes on to tell us how to live in this – by adding virtue, knowledge, self-control, endurance, devotion, mutual affection and love to our faith. Having faith is not enough, it must be lived out in community, ultimately, with love. Living in a love that is active and reaching out of ourselves is living in God!
