Friday, June 21
I always loved the sentence in today’s Gospel that says: “Where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” Our faith in God has helped find the real and lasting treasures in our lives. These are the realities that we can hold on to and be grateful for and over and over again that the Lord has helped us find. These treasures may be certain people, places, events, objects of beauty. There can be many things completing for being a “treasure” but don’t be tempted to give in. Choose wisely.
