Daily Reflection: Monday, May 16

Monday, May 16 – Fifth Week of Easter

Our Gospel reading from John is a continuation of the gospel reading from yesterday about love. The Love that comes from God, agape. Agape love is an unselfish and unconditional love.  We as human beings cannot love unconditionally because of our sinful nature. This does not mean that we do not strive to love like God.  Jesus gave us the gift of The Advocate, the Holy Spirit who is to teach us and remind us of what Jesus taught.  So, today pray to the Holy Spirit to help you to show agape love to each other.
