Daily Reflection: Wednesday, November 30

Wednesday, November 30

The Great Feast of St. Andrew is today. He responded to Jesus’ invitation “Come after me and I will make you fishers of people.” We read further: “At once they left their nets and followed him.” To us who today would want to “think it over”, Andrew’s leaving everything familiar then and there to follow Jesus is not our way of responding. Listen each day as the Lord asks us to “follow him.” May each day bring us closer and closer to the Lord and to participant in his mission. Come, Lord Jesus!

Fr. Andrew
