Daily Reflection: Friday, December 30

Friday, December 30

This year we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family on this day rather than the Sunday after Christmas. All families are different and many people belong to extended families and more than one family. The family provides the atmosphere in which we grow up. As adults we always need to look back at what we have received from our families: both the positive as well as the negative and remember that we are all human with our strengths and weaknesses. Certainly, the life of the Holy Family had its challenges. Look to them for strength.
