Daily Reflection: Thursday, September 8

Thursday, September 8

We celebrate the nativity of Mary today. Although the readings do not speak of her birth, we know something about her parents, Joachim and Ann. They were childless and what a trauma that was for parents in that day and age. An angel finally appeared and told them that they would have a “wondrous” child. Today, pray for couples who are having a problem with having a child or those who have a child out of wedlock.
