Daily Reflection: Saturday, September 10

Saturday, September 10

Today’s Scriptures say: “I will show you what someone is like who comes to me, listens to my words and acts on them.” This is the person who has a strong faith foundation for their lives. Jesus speaks about this in today’s Gospel from Luke. Through prayer, study and the sacraments we build a strong foundation, but it doesn’t stop there. We keep building so that our foundation doesn’t weaken or crumble when “storms” come our way. Take time today to consider what you need to do to have a stronger foundation.
