Tuesday, Memorial of St. John Chrysostom, Bishop

Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts. (1 Cor 12:31)

St. Paul has listed a number of ministries and gifts and concludes with the admonition to strive for the greatest. The greatest, of course, is love. There is one in his list that attracts my attention: assistance. So humble. Just helping out, but a great gift. If it is your gift, rejoice.
