Daily Reflection: Thursday, January 18

Thursday January 18

Jesus did not seem to tire of the requests for healing that came to him on every side. His desire to have a boat ready was not to take him away from the crowds but to have a space from which he could continue to heal. At times we may tire of the demands of life and/or ministry and want to get away from it all. It is important for us to take time and space for rejuvenation so that we can continue in healthy ways to give of ourselves for the good of others. Let us search for balance between “me” time and the opportunities that come our way to be of service to others.
