Daily Reflection: Thursday, January 25

Thursday, January 25

Today, we celebrate the Conversion of St. Paul. We read about what happened to him on the road to Damascus in the Acts of the Apostles 22: “…a great light from the sky suddenly shone around me. I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’” From that moment his life changed and he became the great preacher that he was. His conversion was rather dramatic. Our process of conversion is generally slower, day to day trying to “put on Christ.” Like St. Paul, our calling is to “proclaim the Gospel to every creature.”
