Daily Reflection: Wednesday, January 24

Wednesday, January 24

“Do not wish to be anything but what you are and do that perfectly.” St. Francis de Sales had a way with words and so he has been made the patron of writers. It is said that he would write 400 letters to individuals, many whom he had never met. He was a great spiritual master and writer of such books as “An Introduction to the Devout Life.” He is a Doctor of the church because of the depth of his spirituality. Look back at the opening quote given above.
