Daily Reflection: Saturday, July 13

Saturday, July 13, 2024 – 14th Week in Ordinary Time

In today’s gospel, Jesus is reminding us of our inherited dignity, because we are created in the image and likeness of our creator God. When I was reading this my favorite psalm came to my mind Psalm 139, entitle The All-knowing and Ever-present God (New American Bible).  Verses 13-14 are my favorite. “You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, so wonderfully you made me; wonderful are your works! Today slowly read Psalm 139 (click on the link for psalm)  https://bible.usccb.org/bible/psalms/139
