Daily Reflection: Saturday, September 14

The Exaltation of the Cross is the church’s feast today. The cross for us is not a sign of defeat but a sign of victory and a sign of Christ’s great love for us. It shows us His humanness and how He was willing to “lay down His life for us.” Ultimately God exalted Him and for those who believe Him, they might not only be saved, but might have eternal life. If you wear a cross, look at it today and think what it means.

Fr. Andrew
