“For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.” It is not faith alone that matters, but faith working through love. And there is work involved in living our faith. We are called to love and at times this is hard. Loving those who please us is easy but loving those who are difficult takes commitment and a willingness to go out of our way to be present to the other in love. This is the challenge of our faith – we are gifted with the example of Jesus to be able to live up to it.
