“Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.” The Responsorial psalm today speaks to us of seeing God face to face! We normally think of this happening when we die, but the psalm is speaking of the present time. Turning to the Lord is what conversion is all about. ‘Make us turn to you’ is more than a request – it is a strong desire for God to help us come closer to the One who will save us from ourselves. Let us pray that we will turn more frequently to the God whose desire for us is greater than our desire for God!
