Daily Reflection: Wednesday, December 6

Wednesday of the First Week of Advent (St. Nicholas)

Where could we ever get enough bread in this deserted place to satisfy such a crowd?  (Mt 15:33)

The crowds came for cures and they were not disappointed.  I am always surprised that they did not complain of hunger or ask to be fed.  But Jesus knew and he fed them.  Soon, they would look for bread and he would give them himself.
