Daily Reflection: Wednesday, May 10

Wednesday, May 10, 2023 – 5th Week of Easter https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/051023.cfm

We read in our gospel reading Jesus saying: “Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me”. John is reminding us, that to be really a Christian we must have an intimate personal relationship with God. Without God we are unable to be what we were created to be, the beloved children of God. Today take some time and do an inventory on your relationship with God; noticing where you might need some improvement, then praying for the Holy Spirit for the courage and guidance to make those improvements.
