Daily Reflection: Tuesday, May 9

Tuesday, May 9, 2023 – 5th Week of Easter https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/050923.cfm

Our gospel reading might sound familiar. John is repeating some of the points that he made in our Sunday gospel reading. Once again, he is telling us not to let our hearts be troubled. With so much violence and hatred in our world today, it is very difficult not to let our hearts become discouraged. We must remember, the peace that comes from God does not mean an absence of violence around us. God’s peace is knowing that God’s plan will overcome all evil. Today pray for the graces to experience the peace that comes from God.
