Daily Reflection: Monday, May 8
Monday, May 8, 2023 -5th Week of Easter https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/050823.cfm
Today, we heard about how Paul and Barnabas cured a crippled man and how the people thought they were gods. Paul and Barnabas had to tell them that man was cured by God, not by them. In the responsorial psalm we read, “Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name give glory because of your mercy, of your truth. This reminds us that all that we have and all that we do here on earth comes from the gifts that we have received from God. We are not gods. What good we do is ultimately comes from God. Today, give thanks to God for all your accomplishments that come from using the gifts that God has given to you.
