Monday of the Seventh Week of Easter

In the world, you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.  (Jn 16:33)

It is clear that we do have trouble in and with the world.  The courage that the Lord wants for us is more than hanging on in faith.  It is about conquering the world as only he did and still does.
