April 1   Saturday of the Fifth Week of Lent

[Caiaphas] prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation and not only for the nation, but also to gather into one the dispersed children of God.  (Jn 11:51-51)

Caiaphas’ s unwitting prophecy is good news for us and the whole world.  It is the divine will that all God’s children should be gathered in God.  Who are we to erect barriers?
