Daily Reflection: Tuesday, April 11

Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Tuesday within the Octave of Easter

Yesterday, we read Matthew’s version of Jesus appearing to Mary Magdalene, today we read John’s version.  In both versions Marry is Commission to tell his disciples that he has risen. The early church gave Mary Magdalene the title of the apostle to the apostles. By our baptisms we are called to announced the risen Christ to others. Today, pray that we can be as courageous as Mary to be heralds of the Good News.
