In these weeks after Easter we are given sections of the Acts of the Apostles to think about. No matter what obstacles the early followers of Christ encountered, Christianity couldn’t be stopped. Today’s section is a good example when the religious leaders in the early days of the church were told: “We gave you strict orders, did we not, to stop teaching in that name.” This was enough to make

them even more determined to continue on. How true it is that we have seen this at times of persecution in our own day and age.
