GOSPEL REFLECTIONS: APRIL 15

Saints of God, the Lord be with you! In today’s first reading from the Book of Acts (5: 27-33) Peter and the Apostles say, “We must obey God rather than men.” This is only possible if we rely on the Holy Spirit Who makes His home within us and reminds us of everything Jesus said and did. In fact, in today’s Gospel Saint John writes that, “(God) does not ration His gift of the Spirit.” Today, let’s ask ourselves who or what directs our words and actions most often. If it is not God, then we need to change.
