GOSPEL REFLECTIONS Apr 17

Saints of God, the Lord be with you! Did you ever wonder why we have the St. Francis Center, with its’ food pantry, counseling center, children’s services, and all the other good works that are done for our community? The answer is found in today’s first reading from the Acts of the Apostles (6: 1-7). No true Christian can neglect the needs of others. The parish staff has always thought that the center is the hands of the parish reaching out to the community. Our prayers must be given flesh through acts of charity. Thank you to all who donate to the center so that acts of charity and service may be done in imitation of Christ.
