The Feast of St. Joseph the Worker is celebrated today. This year has been dedicated to St. Joseph who trusted in the Lord even though he had to ignore current customs and laws during his life. What a man of good judgment and a man with a heart to do what was right for Mary. Today, we honor him as a “worker” and this should touch our hearts as we think of the hours that we put into work each day. The little we know about him speaks loudly and I wish we knew more about him.
