You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. (Jn 15:3)

The word for pruned in Biblical Greek is the same as the word for purify. Pruning/ purification is essential for our ongoing conversion as followers of Jesus. For this to happen, though, we need to be devoted to God’s Word.
